The 18-hole course is relatively open, with few trees to trap you or block out your line, but don’t fooled into thinking you can spray the ball willy-nilly. A combination of water, rough and out of bounds make many of the holes at Sunbury quite tight, requiring accuracy off the tee and a good judgement of length with your approach shots. It’s an easy walk, enjoyable for golfers of all ages and abilities, but there is plenty to challenge the more proficient golfer too.
Sunbury Golf welcomes all golfers to come and hone their game on our excellent practice facilities. The outstanding feature is our 32-bay, floodlit, covered Toptracer driving range, which is within easy ordering distance of the bar. Our 9-hole Academy Course is good for practicing all aspects of your game and we have a practice bunker where you can work on the finer points of your short game. A well-maintained putting green completes the picture. We also have buggies and trolleys for hire.
