Sherwood Forest Golf Club is one of the finest heathland golf courses in Great Britain and we offer a warm welcome to golf societies and or groups.
You will find us in the East Midlands to the east of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, U.K. We are a long established heathland course alongside the pines, silver birch and oak trees of Clipstone Woods within the legendary Sherwood Forest.

A full eighteen hole true Championship Course of 6,835 yards (par 71, course rating 73.7, slope rating 140) awaits you with none of the modern water hazards but ninety eight bunkers of local sand and long carries over punishing swathes of heather.
As a general rule we are renowned for our ‘most excellent’ greens and a long, demanding turn for home. Very rarely will your ‘second half’ score better the first.
