Winter Golf Series
2023/24 Winter Series in conjunction with Alwoodley Golf Club.
Format is 4BBB Stableford, limited to 64 players with a Series Order of Merit.
Prizes at each event & the overall Series winner will win a 4ball voucher at each venue which will be valid until 31 December 2024.

Founded in 1909, Moortown was designed by the World famous golf course architect Dr Alister MacKenzie, who also designed Augusta National, Cypress Point, Royal Melbourne and many other championship courses throughout the world. Moortown has always held a richly deserved reputation as one of the country’s finest Championship Golf courses. Originally designed by Dr Alister MacKenzie, Moortown is set in 175 acres of dramatically contrasting mainly level woodland and moorland.
Well-known around the World as the host of the first Ryder Cup match on British soil, in 1929, Moortown is regarded by many as one of the Country’s finest inland golf courses. Over the past Century the Club has hosted many professional and amateur tournaments with winners that include Sir Nick Faldo, Bernard Gallagher, Danny Willett and Sir Michael Bonallack, former Captain of the R & A, to name but a few.
