Built on the land of the famous Secrets orchard in West Surrey, seven miles from the city of Guildford, Milford Golf Club features a wonderful 18 hole course, designed by Alliss and Clark, and a clubhouse that offers a warm welcome to golfers and non-golfers alike.
Opened in 1993, our course was designed by the famous Peter Allis and Clive Clark duo, who created a beautiful 18 holes from former orchard land, and gave the course a challenging finish. Six of the holes are protected by pretty water features (not so pretty when you’re in them) and the whole course benefits from its prime location in the beautiful west Surrey countryside. For beginners and experienced golfers alike, it’s a course that will test and reward you in equal measure.
And then comes the 18th. A 457 yard par 5 over water, this hole requires a fairly large, accurate tee shot and offers you two choices: a straight 160-180 yard carry, or the Tiger line, carrying 200 yards. Either way, you’ll need to dissect the trees on the other side, but if you can pull all that off, the generous green will pull in your approach shot… provided you can avoid the large, doughnut-shaped bunker on the way.
