Bringing a group to Fulford is so much more than just an invitation to a fantastic course – we’re here to give your group a fantastic experience.
There is so much we can do to make the day special. Our team will be on hand to help on the day with additional extras such as:
- Welcome reception and hosting of booking in
- Live leaderboard for your competition through smartphones
- Introduction to the course and some of the stories of the past
- Catering before, during or after the event
- Exclusive hire and use of areas of the Clubhouse as required

Tread in the footsteps of some of golf’s greatest!
There’s no doubt Fulford is a proper test of golf but it’s also a fair one and one that everyone can enjoy. Remember, we want you to have a day to remember and not a day where you’ve been knee-high in the hay hunting for golf balls.
Although we are only 3 miles from the centre of York, the course switches effortlessly from green parkland to the gorse, heather and wildlife of a heathland links. Maybe you’ll see wild deer roaming across the course or spot our resident barn owls – there’s more than one way to have a day to remember, especially if you join!
Come and walk in the footsteps of some of the World’s best golfers – Ryder Cup players and Captains as well as many Major Champions. For 23 years the course tested the likes of Faldo, Woosnam, Olazabal, Weiskopf, Jacklin, Trevino and many, many more as a regular stop for the European Tour. Many of them had days to remember and some had days to forget.
Today the course is regularly chosen to host county and international championships. In recent times Fulford has played host to the 2013 European Amateur Ladies Team Championship, the Carris Trophy and was the venue for the 2018 and 2019 R&A Girls U16 Amateur Championship and will host the 2021 R&A Girls Amateur Championship.
