SOCIETY GOLFING
Canterbury Golf Club is a members’ club and welcomes societies, with Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays set aside for golf societies. Small groups can occasionally be accommodated at the weekend.
We offer a variety of packages, which are listed below, and all can be customised to meet requirements.

Canterbury Golf Club opened in 1927 on 160 acres of land leased from the War Office. It was designed by one of golf’s greatest course architects, Harry Colt, and the land was later purchased by the club from the Ministry of Defence. Whether you are an experienced player or just starting to play golf, at Canterbury they are always delighted to welcome new members. Their membership consists of men’s, ladies’ seniors’ and juniors’ sections actively playing in club competitions, league fixtures and friendly golf.
