Harry Vardon once stated that ‘to play well you must feel tranquil and at peace.’ After he designed the Aberystwyth course in the early 1900s, it’s hard to imagine any other state of mind. The course offers magnificent views of the Welsh Coast as well as a wonderful golfing experience.
Aberystwyth is a great test for golfers of all abilities. Our 18 hole course extends to 6,126 yards and is well maintained. The golf course is situated above the university town of Aberystwyth overlooking Cardigan Bay. A round of golf will give you views of the magnificent West Wales coast which are truly spectacular. They take in the mountains of Snowdonia to the north and sweep round to the Preseli Hills of Pembrokeshire in the south.
In addition to these wonderful views, the area is also home to a variety of wildlife including some spectacular birds of prey such as the red kite and a range of marine creatures such as bottlenose dolphins, grey seals and porpoises.
