Can your Golf Society help England & Wales Blind Golf ?

Has you ever thought of volunteering at golf events? Could members of your golf society volunteer?

Then this could possibly be your chance to help by being a ball spotter for a Visually Impaired Golf Tournament, run by England & Wales Blind Golf , on Sunday May 7th.

It is the Chairmans Stableford Cup at Kilworth Springs Golf Club in Leicestershire – starting at 10.45am.

If you enjoy helping others, walking, fresh air and meeting new people then please get in contact with England & Wales Blind Golf & help with their search for ball spotters.

You need absolutely no prior knowledge of golf or anything related to golf.

All you need is a keen set of eyes, an enjoyment of walking, fresh air and the desire to meet new people and help them to enjoy the sport they love!

For more information and to register your interest please contact Di Daniels – volunteer.blindgolf@gmail.com.

Some quotes from ball-spotters who volunteered last year –

“I had a thoroughly enjoyable day on Friday at the Vale and feel very priviledged to have been part of it, very inspiring and humbling.”

“It’s so rewarding to help these wonderful players/people play the game that is so important to them.”

“I had a great day and will definitely sign up again when work permits.”

Wouldn’t it be amazing if your golf society could help?
